Created by a Miralee Askew, a former Headteacher and educator with over 40 years experience in education, who nurtured her eldest to Oxford University, and supported her neurodivergent child to pass all her GCSEs when predicted to fail.

Nursery rhymes and songs can be used anywhere at any time. As such, they are one of our most transportable forms of play to develop language and reading skills.
Rhymes and songs are ideal for developing numbers sense as there is frequent use of counting and number play. There are maths related words to help define many concepts which contributes to a child's basic maths foundations which will help with later mathematical understanding.
Mini Maths & Little Literacy helps build playful foundations in:
Early language and communication
Counting and number sense
Memory and focus
Confidence through repetition
All through simple, repeatable play.
Why I Do This Work
Hi, I'm Miralee, a former primary Headteacher with four decades of experience across state and independent education.
I have taught, led, assessed and supported thousands of children from early years through to high stakes selection.
I have also walked this path as a parent.
What I learned, both professionally and personally, is this:
The children who cope best later are not the ones who started earlier academically,
they are the ones whose foundations were built securely through play based experiences.
